If you sign up to updates on our website, we collect your email address. We do not store card details ourselves — any payments are handled by our payment provider.
Why we use your information and our lawful basis
We use your information to provide and manage the pet care services you book, to contact you about your bookings, and to keep your pet safe. Our lawful basis for this is the performance of our contract with you. We keep records of your pet's needs and access arrangements on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a safe, reliable service. Where we send marketing or newsletter updates, we do so only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Home access and key security
Where you provide keys or entry details, we store this information securely and separately from your name and address wherever possible, and use it solely to carry out the agreed service.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your information. We only share it where necessary: with your veterinary practice or an emergency vet if your pet needs urgent care; with our website host and email/booking providers (such as GoDaddy) who process data on our behalf; and where we are required to by law.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you are a customer and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet our legal and insurance obligations, after which it is securely deleted.
